Description
The current Lighthorne Sports Association was formed in 1995 to manage the Sports Pavilion and Field on behalf of the Parish Council, to whom they belong.

It is an association of all the separate village sports clubs.

Each club is responsible for its own finances and pays a membership fee of £5.00 per adult and £2.50 per junior on behalf of all of its members.  In addition, each club then pays a nominal match fee for each occasion that it uses the association facilities.

The Association is now on the up, having recently associated Leamington Khalsa Cricket Club who will play their league fixtures at the Sports Ground for at least the next three years.  The Tennis can also be considered extremely active.  Unfortunately there is at present no active Football team.

The Association or the Parish Council would be very interested to hear from anyone with ideas to make further use of this very valuable community asset.
