Festive Fodder for Felines & Christmas Cans for Canines Once again we are making a seasonal collection of dog and cat food which we will take either to the Dogs Trust (formerly NCDL) at Honiley or the Avon Cat Rescue at Welford-on-Avon in time for Christmas. Please let us have your tins of food or boxes of biscuits by Friday 19th December. If we are not at home when you call please leave them on the doorstep and accept much wagging of tails and many purrs in thanks for your kindness.
The Dogs Trust prefer dry “complete” food because it’s easier to distribute and
they would also be glad of blankets. The Avon Cat Rescue would be grateful for
bin bags, kitchen roll, bubble wrap, washing up liquid, cat-bed size cardboard
boxes and knitting wool which we would be pleased to take also. They of course
would be very grateful for cat food, preferably pouches or tins, but please no
coloured dry food with vegetables in. Thank you, woof, purr-rr!! Jane & Mike Rigby, The Jays, Post Office Lane, Lighthorne. Tel: 651420.
